Jon Kiln is a storyteller who believes adventure knows no age. An older gentleman with a penchant for birdwatching and long bicycle rides through quiet countryside paths, he finds inspiration in the simple pleasures of life. A devoted cat person (who secretly enjoys the company of dogs as well), he lives minimally, save for the occasional indulgence in rare, imported teas and hand-bound leather notebooks.

His stories often feature older protagonists, seasoned by life but far from finished, navigating treacherous realms with the wisdom of experience and the fire of youth still burning within.

When he’s not writing, he can be found enjoying classic Asian cinema, sipping a carefully brewed cup of oolong, or testing his reflexes in a new game. His work is a testament to the idea that heroism isn’t reserved for the young—and that sometimes, the best stories begin when others think the tale is over.
